La Vieille Ferme Blanc - 2017

The vintage
This 2017 vintage will be remembered as the year of all records: the driest year in 30 years, non-interventionist vineyard work, optimal harvest conditions, a very small yield due to climatic hazards, and wines with very rich potential. Back on this very technical vintage with great potential.
If you enjoy quaffable wines, this one is ideal as an aperitif or paired with a simple meal
The grapes are lightly crushed, then pressed in a pneumatic press, prior to clarification of the must and cool fermentation.
This takes place in vats for 90% of the blend, with 10% fermented in new oak barrels with lees-stirring.
The wine remains in stainless steel tanks until the month of January, when the wine is bottled after fining.

The mouth is fresh, rich with a mineral acidity, an aromatic and tasty finish. This 2017 white is very expressive and balanced.
