Presentation

Presentation
The family’s other Châteauneuf! Les Sinards comes from the young vines at Beaucastel and from a neighbouring vineyard that we farm.
The vintage
In 2010, all the right conditions were united to produce an exceptional vintage.
Heavy rainfall during spring, followed by a very hot summer and an Indian summer in September allowed for great harvest conditions.
This vintage produced very balanced wines on intense notes of fruit with a great finesse.

"Lightly liquorice. Very smooth and polished texture. Not much grunt but certainly well mannered and competently made. Light finish. "

"The 2010 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Sinards red is a blend of young Beaucastel vines and fruit from adjacent properties. It possesses a deep ruby/purple color as well as black cherry, licorice, garrigue, tobacco leaf and spice box characteristics. It is deep and medium to full-bodied with good acidity and freshness. "

"Fresh red berries and cherry on the intensely fragrant nose. Sappy, palate-coating black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors are complemented by suave lavender and anise notes and lifted by a peppery quality. Finishes seamless and sweet, with very good breadth and spicy persistence."

"Lush and inviting, with smoldering black tea weaving through the fleshy layers of melted fig, hoisin sauce, plum preserves and blackberry pudding. The dark ganache-coated finish has serious grip."

"Bright ruby. Highly perfumed aromas of raspberry, cherry and dried flowers. Juicy and open-knit, offering lush red and dark berry compote flavors that pick up spiciness with air. Closes with very good energy and lift, with supple tannins lending shape and grip. "

"Smooth and lush with ripe berries, plum, spice and depth; juicy and tangy with minerals, supple texture and a long, complex finish. Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache."
