Presentation
The vintage
The 2016 vintage in the Southern Rhone valley is exceptional, both in terms of quality and quantity, thanks to idyllic weather conditions that protected the region from climatic accidents throughout the whole year.
Location
Located on the right bank of the Rhône river, directly opposite Châteauneuf du Pape, in the department of the Gard.
Terroir
Similar soils to Chateauneuf Du Pape, with a bench of limestone, Clay and Sandy soils covered by round pebbles.
Tavel's 300.000 year old pebbles are key to the ripening of the grapes: reflection of the sunlight during the day, heat release at night.

Advice
Serving
8 to 10°C - Tavel is not only a summer wine, but also a wine to enjoy with a meal, and can be appreciated all the year round.
Tasting
This rosé presents finesse and elegance in contrast with darker and heavier Tavels. This bright, intense pinkish wine with lighter shades, has sumptuous aromas of raspberry and strawberry and reveals its intensity on the palate. A very fine balance and elegance with aromas of red and black fruit.
Food pairings
We invite you to enjoy Pebble Rose on it's own or paired with lighter dishes like mixed salads, grilled veggies, seafood, white meats, hard cheeses etc...
