Der Jahrgang
Der Jahrgang 2016 war im südlichen Rhônetal außergewöhnlich, sowohl was die Traubenqualität als auch die -menge anbelangte. Dies war den idyllischen Wetterbedingungen zu verdanken, die ohne Kapriolen das ganze Jahr lang in der Region herrschten.

Château de Beaucastel hat 7 Hektar mit weißen Sorten bepflanzt.
Terroir
Molasse Meeresböden des Miozän, bedeckt mit Alpinen Ablagerungen.

Handverlesen in kleinen Kisten,
Sortierung der Trauben,
Pneumatische Pressung, Keltern, Absetzen des Saftes,
Reifung (30% in Eichenfässern, 70% in Tanks).

Verkostung
Mit seiner hübschen, blassgelben Farbe zeigt dieser Beaucastel Blanc 2016 eine große Eleganz mit Noten von weißen Blüten sowie Heckenkirschen. Am Gaumen vermittelt er einen leicht salzigen Eindruck, der dem Wein ein schönes Gleichgewicht verleiht. Ein sehr harmonischer Jahrgang, der eine gute Länge aufweist.
