The vintage
In Provence, the 2024 vintage was marked by complex climatic conditions, requiring constant vigilance and attention in the vineyard. Frost in May, hail in July and then a cool and slightly rainy September favoured slow ripening of the grapes. This allowed us to obtain aromatic and fresh wines, with a well-preserved natural acidity, but with paler colour than usual, a consequence of a lower ph. The first tastings reveal fresh and dense aromas, accompanied by a nice complexity on the palate, full of flavours and saline at the same time. Tangy and fruity, without any harshness, particularly pleasant and easy to drink.
Terroir
Studio by Miraval white is a tribute to Rolle which is The main local white grape variety.
Ageing
The Rolle is vinified in tulip-shaped concrete vats with a rounded bottom. This ovoid shape creates a natural convection movement that suspends the lees creating the same effect as a batonnage. This results in a wines that keep their fruitiness and acidity but also gives texture and body.

Tasting
Elegant pale-yellow colour with silver highlights. Very fresh, the nose reveals seductive notes of lemony white peaches. This freshness continues in the mouth with a beautiful balance, fruity aromas of crisp green apples combined with lovely tangy notes that recall the minerality of the Miraval terroir, and a long finish with saline notes.
