Presentation
The Grand Prébois is François Perrin’s house on the Route de Jonquières in Orange just a few kilometres away from Beaucastel. The vineyard is about 40 hectares, 30 are in the appellation of Côtes du Rhône (where the Grenache for our Perrin Réserve comes from) and 10 hectares in Vin de Pays where this white wine comes from, made with mostly Viognier and Marsanne.
The vintage
In 2010, all the right conditions were united to produce an exceptional vintage.
Heavy rainfall during spring, followed by a very hot summer and an Indian summer in September allowed for great harvest conditions.
This vintage produced very balanced wines with intense notes of fruit and great finesse.
