The vintage
The 2009 vintage can be described as a wine with good structure and soft tannins. The wine is balanced and has a good acidity level despite the high temperatures in August. This wine has characteristics of great vintages such as the 2005 and 2007 with great ageing potential.
Location
Sinards White comes from an area that we call the Clos du Château, near the village of Châteauneuf du Pape. The vineyard of 2,5 hectares is located right next to the one of Les Sinards Red.

Tasting
A pale golden-yellow hue.
The nose is reminiscent of flowers with a touch of licorice and honey.
The texture is very soft, elegant and ripe, with flavors of ripe peach and licorice. Good acidity and a salty character at the end.

Reviews
Pale gold. Ripe pear and jasmine aromas are complicated by licorice and white pepper. Broad, fleshy and dry, with very good depth and grip to its orchard fruit and lemon rind flavors. Expands nicely on the finish, which features notes of honeysuckle and bitter quinine. This wine will be extremely flexible at the table. "
"
Fresh, smooth and elegant with tangy acidity and lovely white owers; silky, minerally with juicy fruit and complexity; balanced, lively and long."
