Vorstellung
Wir mögen das Terroir von Vinsobres, ein schönes Dorf in der Nähe von Vaison la Romaine. Der Weinberg liegt auf einer Höhe von 300m und zum größten Teil auf Terrassen. Vinsobres ist besonders an Syrah angepasst, weil es die Finesse, die häufig in südlichen Klimazonen verloren geht, bewahrt. Es entwickeln sich Noten von Veilchen, Räucherfleisch und Brombeeren. Grenache passt auch in dieses Terroir, vollmundig und nicht schwer, Noten von schwarzer Schokolade, Kirsche und typische Garrigue Aromen.
Der Jahrgang
2009 ist ein sehr guter Jahrgang im südlichen Rhône-Tal. Es ist eine Kombination aus reifen Früchten, im Mund vollmundig und harmonisch, ein saftiger Abgang mit eleganten Tanninen.
Lage
Der nördlichste Weinberg der südlichen Rhône. Die Familie Perrin besitzt rund 60 Hektar in einem einzigen Grundstück in Vinsobres. Die durchschnittliche Höhe der Hügel und Terrassen beträgt 300 Meter.
Terroir
Steinige und sandige Mergel an den Hängen, steinige quaternären Anschwemmungen auf den Terrassen
Reife
Die gesamte Ernte wird abgebeert. Syrah vinifiziert in Holztanks, umrühren und umpumpen. Der Grenache wird in Edelstahltanks vinifiziert. Der Syrah reift teilweise in einem Jahr alten Eichenfässern gereift. Mischen erfolgt nach der malolaktischen Fermentation.
