Die 30 Hektar von Coudoulet liegen östlich des Weinbergs von Beaucastel auf der anderen Seite der Autobahn A7. Aus Gründen, die inzwischen offensichtlich sind, wird er oft als das Beaucastel Baby betrachtet. Die Coudoulet Böden haben viel Ähnlichkeit mit denen von Beaucastel. Er ist aus Molasse, Meeresboden, bedeckt durch alpine Ablagerungen . Reife
